Finding Love and Healing Through Rainbows

Finding Love and Healing Through Rainbows

Finding these rainbows isn't rocket science. It's more about being open to the possibility. Fear often speaks up, convincing us there are no rainbows on our path. Through learning trust and belief, there's always a rainbow waiting to be seen. Lately, I've noticed a common thread among clients feeling defeated. It reminds me of a memory from years back when I was engaged in a dance with a serenade, of the Muppet song, "Why are there so many songs about rainbows?" – a sweet reminder that, while Muppets might not be real, they sure make us feel real.

The Summer I Turned Pretty

The part I anticipated to be the most challenging turned out to be the most rewarding. One day, I immersed myself in prayerful meditation, extending invitations to significant figures from my past to join me in this introspective moment. My intention was to seek forgiveness and confront my own missteps. Although I sent out spiritual invitations to three individuals, only one responded.

Shula’s blood was boiling all day thinking about Mina shaking and in fear on this island. He understands now why Taylor’s work was so important. I followed the routine. Finished the dishes got on the floor to clear the glass, and then the clock spoke to me again. It was ticking. I sat on the floor and remembered the last time there was broken wine glasses on my kitchen floor. The night that turned into a weekend on that floor. Breaking every glass that I had slamming it at the clock until it broke and stopped working. That was back in 2006. That was the day I broke my inner clock and stopped time. That was the day I died inside. That memory was heavy. I will save the details for another time. Just know, it was painful. I am still amazed that I physically stayed alive. I can’t believe I was still carrying that dead weight around since then.

We all have a cycle. We all have a season. It doesn’t matter what you call it, it is how you nurture it. A feeling we have when we are triggered by a situation and afraid of the outcome. Because we have been hurt here or don't know what to do, we are scared. I do believe these are lessons we are taught. We are playing a game of insanity with ourselves because we don't want to see some truths, or we are comfortable in the cycle and afraid of being free from that comfort zone.

All That I Have

All That I Have

In this deep mediation-prayer through breathwork, this day we concentrated on fear. What it looks like, why it is here, what it is holding onto us. I saw this tiny little animal holding onto my heart, tearing it open like the cheese you must peel the wax off, hanging onto that piece for dear life. I simply picked up my fear animal, had a conversation with it and then handed it over to Jesus.

As I am attempting to make a mark in this world, it feels impossible.

E.T. became a clear message of my mission and raw ugliness that needs to be built into confidence and love for myself and others.

In this movie all we are asked of is to “BELIEVE” even when we don’t know how to define the unknown.

My memory goes straight to the scene in The Extra-Terrestrial Where Elliot introduces E.T. to food and especially learning about drinking a Coke.
